ABOUT ME

HEY, YOU

i grew up as a neurodiverse, queer kid in the middle of suburbia, heavily invested in fantasy (and, weirdly, academia) with dreams of attending an ivy league for a degree in creative writing. or, like, law.

Me, age 16, having scored my first title role (and first role ever) in Into the Woods. I played the woods.

After publishing my first novel at 15 and deciding that I wanted to explore other mediums of storytelling, I auditioned for my first high school musical, trembling with stage fright the entire time.

From there, turning down Columbia to pursue a life as a full-time creative was a no brainer. Obviously.

While earning my BFA in Musical Theatre at Pace University, I was lucky enough to make incredible personal and professional connections, perform at some of NYC’s most historic cabaret venues, and make my Off-Broadway debut in the NYC Premiere of Girlfriend.

As a genderfluid actor with a vocal range extending from baritenor to mezzo-soprano, I’ve played characters from all across the gender spectrum, and delight in the flexibility that’s given me in my professional career so far.

Since graduating, I’ve most often found myself in rooms working on developmental work, whether that be an audio drama on its first draft or the last workshop of a musical before it debuts on Broadway, and I love to contribute to new pieces and/or collaborate on a piece as it continues its journey.

My goal in all of the art that I make is to create something meaningful, whether that meaning lies in forcing an audience to re-examine hard-hitting, internal truths, or shit that exists purely to entertain, allowing all who consume it to revel in the whimsy and escapism. If that speaks to you…
